1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Henry Pozzetta ("operator", "we", "us") handles information in connection with the EE_Adapter_v1 Discord Bot ("the Bot"). The Bot is an experimental research tool that connects Discord servers to the Entropy Engine stability monitoring system and the Claude API provided by Anthropic, Inc.
We are committed to handling all data minimally, transparently, and responsibly.
2. What Data the Bot Accesses
The Bot only activates when directly @mentioned in a designated monitored channel. When triggered, it accesses the following data:
Data Element | Why It Is Accessed | Retained? |
Message text content | Sent to Claude API to generate a response | No — discarded after response is delivered |
Discord user ID | Used to route the reply back to the correct user | No — not stored after the interaction completes |
Channel ID and name | Used to verify the message is in a monitored channel | No — configuration only, not logged per message |
Token stream from Claude API response | Processed by the Entropy Engine for stability analysis | No — analyzed in memory, discarded after delivery |
The Bot does not access direct messages, voice channels, user profile data, server membership lists, or any channels it has not been explicitly configured to monitor.
3. Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit:
Usernames, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information
Message history or conversation logs
IP addresses or device information
Any data from channels where the Bot has not been @mentioned
4. How Data Is Processed
When you @mention the Bot, your message text is transmitted to two external services for processing:
Anthropic Claude API — your message is sent to Anthropic's servers to generate a language model response. This transmission is governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review it.
Entropy Engine — the text of Claude's reply (not your message) is analyzed in real time for information stability. This processing occurs on a private cloud server operated by Henry Pozzetta and produces only numerical metrics. No reply content is stored after analysis.
5. Data Retention
The Bot does not maintain a persistent database. All message content and interaction data exists only in memory for the duration of a single request-response cycle and is discarded immediately after the response is posted to Discord.
Server infrastructure logs (standard Linux system logs) may record connection events such as timestamps and process status. These logs do not contain message content and are retained for no more than 30 days for operational monitoring purposes.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties except as required to operate the Bot (Anthropic Claude API) or as required by law. We will never share data for advertising or marketing purposes.
7. Security
The Bot's server infrastructure uses SSH key authentication, environment variable isolation for API credentials, and restricted channel access controls. API keys and tokens are never stored in source code or version control.
While we take reasonable precautions, no system is completely secure. Do not share sensitive personal information through the Bot.
8. Children's Privacy
The Bot is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly process data from users under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has interacted with the Bot, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
9. Your Rights
Because the Bot does not retain personal data, there is no stored data to access, correct, or delete. If you have concerns about data processed during a specific interaction, please contact us and we will investigate promptly.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA respectively. Given that no personal data is retained, these rights are satisfied by design. Contact us with any questions.
10. Third-Party Services
This Bot integrates with third-party services with their own privacy practices:
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Bot after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
12. Contact
Questions or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy may be directed to Henry Pozzetta via the eeDojoLab1 Discord server or through the contact information on this website.
